Samson, the Hawk Pigeon

Simeon, the Hawk Pigeon, joined our aviary on November 18, 2001. He was handraised at Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center after being orphaned. Simeon has very unusual coloring and is quite beautiful. He's a bit of a loner and enjoys neither the company of pigeons nor that of humans. He sleeps on a high shelf near Kitri, a beautiful unmarried female.
