Tsukiko

Tsukiko is a Japanese pigeon with white eyeliner. She joined us on August 19, 2000. Tsukiko was found at a very young age (probably 4 months) with a broken wing. She was small and sick and terrified, but after receiving a few months of supportive care at Rogers Wildlife, Tsukiko got better. Tsukiko's wing is much better, even though she can not fly well enough to be outdoors.

Tsukiko is a very curious pigeon. She loves to watch what everyone is doing. After a few months in my aviary, she grew to full size and is now a big, beautiful healthy pigeon.

Tsukiko was married to beautiful Chaucer Pigeon until he died, and then she married the gorgeous Prince Blue. Tsukiko lived a happy life, but died of natural causes on November 05, 2005. I cared for her until the last minute, and she died peacefully in her nest. May she fly forever in the heavens with wings of gold and a happy heart.
