For babies in their first week of life, make the mixture more watery. You'll feed them 1 to 2 cc's every couple of hours. You can gradually increase the amount of formula used for the next three weeks. This amount will probably be 6-20 cc's. Remember to feed older babies every three to four hours. For adults, use at 20 to 30 cc's twice a day. Measure the formula into the syringe. Using the syringe plunger, push out any extra air. Run warm water over the tubing and attach it to the syringe. |
