Dvori Page FAQ's
I get letters, lots and lots of letters ... [sing like Paul

Here are answers to the most common questions asked about my web site.
Dohhhh. [say like Homer] Study nutrition, hon'. You can get plenty of protein, calcium, iron, and everything you need if you do it right. Some of the best athletes I know are vegetarian, healthy, happy, and lean 'n mean.
Um, pigeon karma? I dunno. I've only seen the Town Lake pigeons land on one other human, who apparently had real good pigeon mojo. They've come to know me quite well, so they know they can land on my arms, shoulder, head, etc. safely.
From what I've observed, most of them don't survive. They are often killed by snapping turtles or humans. I've seen a couple survive and grow up. They need several months with their parents until they are independent. For more information, see my Town Lake Mute Swans page.
Um, I don't know what you like. I like singer/songwriter, acoustic jazz, and Delta Blues, and a lot of other stuff. I'd recommend Tosca (Glover Gill et al.), Ginger MacKenzie, Jimmy LaFave, Guy Forsythe, Serge Laine (celtic/cajun/french), Hope Morgan (jazz vocalist), Tony Campise (jazz saxist), Kevin Lovejoy (piano), Pamela Hart (vocals), Sarah Elizabeth Campbell's Bummer Nights, Evan Arredondo and John Fremgen on bass, Winton Reynolds (piano), Russell Scanlon (guitar), Will Taylor (violin), Beaver Nelson (s/s), the artist formerly known as EarthPig, Laughing Dogs, the Therapy Sisters, the Celtic jam sessions, and acoustic jazz at the Elephant Room (usually early in the week) for starters ...
That's nice.
Train, train, train. Meet some other triathletes, and train some more.
I appreciate feedback or questions, so write already. I answer most letters unless they're weird.
